How to use

You can use katam with water and you can use it with yogurt  .

We prefer to use it with yogurt to get dark colors and fast result, you have to use henna before katam.

 1) Use katam “Buxus Dioica” with some dairy products .

– Dye your hair first with henna and leave it for at least an hour, then after wash your hair and wile your hair is still a little wet ” this makes distribution easier;

– Mix katam powder with just some yogurt or any other dairy products “with no drop of water” until the mixture be little mild and homogeneous .

– immediately apply with good distribute it well on your hair .

– Put a plastic cover on top of the head .

– Make sure you wear gloves, as it will stain your hands

– If you want a light brown color it will be enough to leave it half hour on your hair, to an hour for dark brown and it tends to turn black color if you leave it two hours or more.

– Wash the paste out by only water.

– Your hair’s color will settle over the next 2 days, after that you can wash your hair by shampoo.

Note : please make sure to dye your hair with Yemeni henna “ always make sure that henna powder is natural.” before use katam

 2) Use katam “Buxus Dioica” with water .

Get some henna and katam powders for hair in different proportions depending on how dark you want your hair to be. For darker hair, increase katam amount.

– Mix henna powder and katam powder for hair with water separately. – Make the henna paste first as it needs to sit for half an hour. The katam hair dye paste should be used immediately, so make it at the end.

– Mix the 2 pastes together

– Apply the mixture to your hair from back to front, wearing gloves

– Wrap you hair and let the katam mixture on your hair for 5 hours

– Rinse with water only

– Don’t wash your hair by shampoo for 2 days.

 Nota : You can preserve the color for the longest time possible by washing your hair with Sidr powder instead of shampoo
